A Seasonal Delve Into The Family Archive

We are absolutely delighted to share with you a wonderful Christmas and New Year card from the Conan Doyle Estate's archive. 

The card was sent by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Lady Jean Conan Doyle in December 1921. 

The full story with a fascinating commentary is published on Richard Pooley's online magazine 'Only Connect'. 

Richard is a director of The Conan Doyle Estate and Step Great Grandson of Arthur Conan Doyle. Richard has worked with Catherine Doyle - Arthur Conan Doyle's Great Niece - to photograph and publish this beautiful card.
